چکیده

Addition theorems can be constructed by doing three-dimensional Taylor expansions according to f(r + r) = exp(r · ∇)f(r). Since, however, one is normally interested in addition theorems of irreducible spherical tensors, the application of the translation operator in its Cartesian form exp(x∂/∂x) exp(y∂/∂y) exp(z∂/∂z) would lead to enormous technical problems. A better alternative consists in using a series expansion for the translation operator exp(r · ∇) involving powers of the Laplacian ∇ and spherical tensor gradient operators Y l (∇), which are irreducible spherical tensors of ranks zero and l, respectively [F.D. Santos, Nucl. Phys. A 212, 341 (1973)]. In this way, it is indeed possible to derive addition theorems by doing three-dimensional Taylor expansions [E.J. Weniger, Int. J. Quantum Chem. 76, 280 (2000)]. The application of the translation operator in its spherical form is particularly simple in the case of B functions and leads to an addition theorem with a comparatively compact structure. Since other exponentially decaying functions like Slatertype functions, bound-state hydrogenic eigenfunctions, and other functions based on generalized Laguerre polynomials can be expressed by simple finite sums of B functions, the addition theorems for these functions can be written down immediately.

Three-Dimensional Interfacial Green’s Function for Exponentially Graded Transversely Isotropic Bi-Materials

By virtue of a complete set of two displacement potentials, an analytical derivation of the elastostatic Green’s functions of an exponentially graded transversely isotropic bi-material full-space was presented. Three-dimensional point-load Green’s functions for stresses and displacements were given in line-integral representations. The formulation included a complete set of transformed stress-p...

Some fixed point theorems for $C$-class functions in $b$-metric spaces

In this paper, via $C$-class functions, as a new class of functions, a fixed theorem in complete $b$-metric spaces is presented. Moreover, we study some results, which are direct consequences of the main results. In addition, as an application, the existence of a solution of an integral equation is given.

Calculus on the Sierpinski Gasket I: Polynomials, Exponentials and Power Series

We study the analog of power series expansions on the Sierpinski gasket, for analysis based on the Kigami Laplacian. The analog of polynomials are multiharmonic functions, which have previously been studied in connection with Taylor approximations and splines. Here the main technical result is an estimate of the size of the monomials analogous to x/n!. We propose a definition of entire analytic...

ON CONVERGENCE THEOREMS FOR FUZZY HENSTOCK INTEGRALS

The main purpose of this paper is to establish different types of convergence theorems for fuzzy Henstock integrable functions, introduced by  Wu and Gong cite{wu:hiff}. In fact, we have proved fuzzy uniform convergence theorem, convergence theorem for fuzzy uniform Henstock integrable functions and fuzzy monotone convergence theorem. Finally, a necessary and sufficient condition under which th...
